Ever just want some stillness in life???

I do!  It seems everytime I think I'm about to get into a groove and coast a little something happens.  After we moved into the studio in August I thought I was set.  Then we decided to move (our house NOT THE STUDIO) to Coronado five days (yes 5 DAYS) before Christmas.  That was insane and something I'm not soon to forget.  Although we only relocated our home 20 miles it might as well have been 2 million miles! 

So... I am finally recovering from the house move when BAM!  My husband comes home last week and informs me that what we thought would never happen has happened.  He is being deployed for 7 months.  This was a TOTAL SHOCK!  Many of you know he was eligible for retirement a few months ago but decided to stay in the Navy a few more years specifically because we were told he wouldn't be deploying.  We are very lucky that he is going to Cuba.  The other option was Iraq for a full year.  :(  After several days of crying and screaming "It's not fair!" like an 8 year old I am doing better.  Right now I'm looking ahead and working on a new plan.  I had hopes of expanding the business this year but now will look to maintain what I've been doing which is about three sessions a week.  I will have to be very stringent in scheduling.  There will be very limited availability  for weekends and late afternoons.  I apologize for the inconvenience but I have two kiddos of my own and come April I will be all they have to count on.  My daughter is in middle school and keeping up with her homework is a full time job in and of itself!  Those of you with little ones... just wait! :)

I hope everyone understands.  I will work with everyone as best as I can to accommodate your needs and schedules.  I regret that this will probably mean I will have to turn some people away.  If you are wanting to schedule a session for your newborn I highly suggest you get in touch with me as soon as possible so I can have your due date on my calender to consider when I am scheduling.  As always, anyone who has come in for a maternity session and is planning on bringing the baby back for a newborn session will receive priority.

Finally, as I have relocated my home to Coronado, I plan on doing quite a few family beach sessions there this summer/early fall. If you are interested in a beach session please let me know as soon as possible because I will be doing some traveling this summer.
