OK after the fire!

Many of you have emailed me to ask about my family and the fires.  We are all fine!  We did have to evacuate our Rolling Hills Ranch home in Chula Vista for about 36 hours but our house is fine.  The fire probably came within a 1/4 of a mile (too close!) of our area.  There is a lot of ash to clean up but that is fine considering what some families are going through.  I hope all of you are safe!

After we got home and unpacked my daughter heard that the evacuees needed small size diapers and things for babies so we hit the store and headed down to Qualcomm.  I have to say... I have never seen such a well oiled machine as the volunteer effort going on there.  I was so impressed and so proud to be a part of this San Diego community.

Below is a picture of my kiddos and some of the stuff we took down.  I think it was really important to take them to see what was going on.  My son was shocked that people were living in the parking lot.  I think it was a good lesson for them!

Sweet Baby N!

Baby N was such a cutie!  He was a great treat as my first baby after coming back from my vacation!  Don't worry... I have a few vacation pics for you just as soon as I get a chance.  I didn't go anywhere too terribly exciting... just to Oklahoma to visit family.  So, I'll be boring you with pictures of my niece and newphew!

Grand Opening was a BLAST!

Thanks to everyone who came by for the Grand Opening on September 22nd!  I apologize for taking so long to get these pictures up.  I went on vacation right after the Grand Opening (I needed it!).  It was so great to see some of you that I haven't seen in a while and also nice to meet some new faces!  Well, the party is now over and it's time to get to work!  Please look for details of the Holiday Special event in the next few days.  HOLIDAYS?!?!  Can you believe it's October already???
