New Blog is up and running... please subscribe!

OK, I KNOW you've heard it before but THIS TIME we are going to be doing a lot of very cool things through our new blog!  The Blog and Facebook will be the primary ways that we promote what is going on in the studio.  And, in 2011, there will be a LOT going on in the studio!  The new blog is more user friendly and let's face it... prettier!  You can't underestimate the pretty factor.  

 

Unfortunately, there wasn't anyway for me transfer over your subscriptions to the blog updates so I'm going to ask you to go to THE NEW BLOG and sign up again by clicking on the "Subscribe" button on the left hand side.  You'll receive an email and you'll have to confirm that you really want to join.  I know... it's a pain and I'm sorry to have to ask.  I really appreciate it though!

NEW BLOG ON THE WAY!

This blog is being shut down in favor of a brand new shiny one for the New Year!  I was never fond of the layout and function of this one but I'm really excited for the new one!  I'm hoping this will help me keep it more updated.  We're also going to be using the blog to have a lot more fun!  :)

I will post a link to the new blog when it is up and running for those of you who would like to switch over and subscribe.  Hoping you will!

MONTH OF JULY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ♥ San Diego Maternity & Newborn Photographer

Hi everyone! I can't believe July is bearing down on us already! While I was away this weekend my husband decked out the house in all the Fourth of July bunting. It looks awesome but I could have sworn I just had the Christmas garland up! Where does all that time go??? For those of you with new babies who are new to the warp speed of life that happens when you have kids, let me tell you... it doesn't slow down any when they kids get older! My kids are 14, 11, 10 & 7 and I never know if I am coming or going!

That is a big part of the reason for this letter! July is going to be a busy month for my family. We have lots of family coming in from out of town AND my husband is retiring from the Navy after 22 years of service (so proud!). What this means though is that I will be doing very limited scheduling in July. Don't worry... if I've photographed your maternity session or already talked to you about a newborn session you're in! I will still be having the Mini Session Event on Monday, July 12th and there are still appointments available but call NOW! These mini sessions are becoming very popular and they are the perfect opportunity to update your toddler or older child's portrait! 

Right now I am already booking into August and come September we will be gearing up for Holiday time. If you are pregnant and considering maternity or newborn portraits I highly recommend you contact me as soon as possible to secure an appointment for the Fall

Headed off to the "Chicks Who Click" seminar in Scottsdale, AZ. Looking forward to a weekend of learning new things, visiting with fellow photographers and RELAXING! :) I'll be checking email and phone messages (poolside) but it might be a few days before I get back to you!

Just Hatched Photography Celebrates EIGHT (years that is!) ♥ San Diego Children's Photographer

I just wanted to take a moment and say "THANK YOU!"  This week marks the 8th year of Just Hatched Photography!  The first two were out in Maryland and the last six here in San Diego.  Some of the first babies I photographed here in San Diego will be starting Kindergarten this Fall!  Wow!  Where does the time go???  I ♥♥♥ my job!

Baby "R" came in to play today and reminded my why I love 7-9 month olds!  They are sitting up... love to play peek-a-boo but can't run away from you yet!  It doesn't hurt that he is a beautiful little boy!  Seriously... EVERYONE should have their baby photographed at this age!!!
